The Dijon performance is by far the best on the tour (one of my very favorite shows of the whole year in fact), with 9/10 London being a fairly close second. Most of the rest of the tour is total junk though, imo...

I have to agree. Some spectacular highlights, but 9/14 is poorly played and 9/20-21 are very weak...

We will have to agree to disagree on that point.

As a Europe '74 fan, here is what I've gathered about this tour that has not been mentioned already...

9/9 -Great Truckin>"Wood Green Jam">Wharf Rat. 'Playin' has great sounds, but is a little sloppy.

9/11 - Awesome 'Playin', one of the best of the YEAR. Fluid jamming, amazing interplay, never runs out of ideas. Interesting 'Eyes' with a Ned Lagin the most present I've ever heard. He is not 100% jelling, but you might want to hear this occasionally.

9/14 - Underrated show. It is just OK for '74 standards, which are pretty high. Yeah, no big fireworks here, but if you actually listen it is well played all the way through. 'Truckin>MLB>Wharf Rat' is good, but not great and there is a cut in the 'MLB' on the SBD. The AUD definitely fills in the gaps nicely, but it is not a great AUD and is recommended for completists only. 'Eyes' is gorgeous as usual and this is a very nice version. Is there a bad 'Eyes' from '74? Strong U.S. Blues closer.

9/20 - A good 'Cumberland Blues' opener, for those who appreciate that. Overall this show struggles a bit.

9/21 - A very nice 'Eyes' with a unique and beautiful fluid sounding intro. Overall a pretty strong show.

That is all I can recollect off hand, but I had to stick up for my favorite year and a sometimes maligned Europe '74 tour.
